Servicing the Waste to Energy Industry 

In 1993 through 1996, B&B Industrial Services was awarded the annual maintenance contract with New Charleston Power located in Brawley, CA.  The 2 MH units were fired with cattle waste. The biomass units were completely relined 2 times during the 3-year contract with several medium size projects each year.

In 1990, B&B Industrial Services was awarded the RWS contract in Portland, ME to install the new refractory lining in its Waste to Energy plant. The boiler is fired by 480 tons of waste daily and the system generates 35 MW of power.

In 1989, B&B Industrial Services was awarded the California Portland Cement contract to repair its cogeneration plant, powered by a fluidized bedcoal-fired boiler. The cogeneration plant provides 20 MW of power to help power the plant's cement processing.
